Successions

Property can unite people but separate them as well. Following the death of a family member, an unrecoverable conflict arose in many cases - the reason of which was property.

A notary can help you with any extraordinary event in life, including the death of a close person. You can rely on his/her support when solving legal and tax-related issued pertaining to property transfer.

Successions are governed by the Civil Code – the Act No. 40/1964 (Coll.) and the succession proceeding is governed by the Act No. 99/1963 (Coll.) – Code of Civil Procedure.

The court entrusts a notary with the performance of the necessary legal succession acts. The notary independently performs succession acts leading to the end of the succession proceeding - usually by issuing a Succession Certificate.
